• The emergency school closing notice will be posted on the school website before 8:30AM on Sunday, and the same notice will be sent to all families via e-mail at the same time.
• HXNY will never be open if WCC is closed, so parents may call WCC at 914-606-6900 to check for campus conditions. However, even if WCC is open, we may not be.  Please always check your e-mails or our website.
• It is the responsibility of all parents to pay attention to those notices.

The school admin team stresses the importance of safety. Parents are responsible for the welfare of their own children. Under any weather related emergency situation, please make the decision that you feel is safe for your children to come to the school.  Huaxia Chinese School, New York is not liable for anything that happens to its members due to weather condition.  Any students late or absent due to weather related problems will be excused.  May safety reach all families this winter.
